Drrty singer, Christina Aguilera, is ready to try her acting chops, and says she has been reading scripts for a number of years trying to find the right project. While on her upcoming tour, she plans to reads scripts on the road.

Though anxious to get her feet wet in acting, she says it's important to have the right film before just jumping in.

She said: "I'm waiting for the right thing to come along. It's important it's the right role."

It remains to be seen if she comes off as Britney Spears good, or Jennifer Hudson good in her chosen role.
