Lindsay Lohan could finally be moving out of the Chateau Marmont, where she has been reportedly been racking up a hotel bill for approximately 2 years. Ouch! Hotel staff have long wanted Lohan out of the pricey digs because of her loud, hard partying ways.

Now she has purchased an apartment in the West Hollywood El Palacio Apartments, which just happens to be where Marilyn Monroe lived. The bad news is that it is also where 20-year-old heiress Georgette Bauerdorf and actress Dorothy Dandridge both died under mysterious circumstances in the very same El Palacio pad. In 1944, Bauerdorf was found strangled, face down in her bathtub, while Dandridge committed suicide by OD'ing on barbiturates in 1965.

Apparently Lindsay has had a longtime fascination with all things Marilyn, and expressed an interest in doing USO-type tours for the troops, just like Marilyn had done. She also has said that she "aspires to be a pin-up", just like Marilyn was.

I can think of bigger and better things to aspire to.
