Jolie Could Bring New Son Home This Weekend
Angelina Jolie and son Maddox are in Vietnam this week to finalize adoption arrangements for her new 3 year old son-to-be. The Associated Press reports that she may have the child as soon as this evening.
Jolie will attend an adoption ceremony with officials in Ho Chi Minh City tomorrow, and then meet with the US consulate for review of papers in order to get the boy's passport approved. If all goes according to plan, Jolie could be bringing the new addition back to the US by this weekend.
The Vietnamese boy was abandoned at the orphanage as an infant, and after the staff tried unsuccessfully to locate his parents, he became a permanent resident. Staff describe him as healthy, friendly, and a bit on the shy side, and he loves to play soccer. No name for him has been released yet.
