Stern Named Beneficiary in Anna Nicole's Will
From: ET
Just one day after Anna Nicole Smith's death, we (ET) sat down with her friend and partner Howard K. Stern.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Linda Bell Blue, executive producer of "Entertainment Tonight" and "The Insider," visited Howard K. Stern at his hotel in Miami Friday morning. Bell Blue says, "Howard is devastated, inconsolable and distraught after the death of Anna Nicole." Bell Blue adds that he was "hysterical and could barely speak. Tragically and forever wounded."
Anna told friends she wanted to be buried next to her son, Daniel, in the Bahamas.
Sources tell ET Anna Nicole did have a will. It was created before Daniel's death and named him as her sole heir. Howard was named as the executor of her estate.
Family law experts told TMZ that Stern cannot legally be both Executor and beneficiary. The other issue is that disposition will get sticky depending on what happens with the paternity suit and whether or not Anna and Howard's Bahamian commitment ceremony is deemed legally binding by a probate court.
