Janet Jackson's Latest Booby Prize
From Planet Gossip
Janet Jackson just can't seem to keep her top on.
She's on the cover of the new issue of V magazine wearing nothing but a pair of Diesel jeans, a funky feather headdress by Givenchy Haute Couture and her two hands. In the issue's photo spread by Jean-Paul Goude, Ms. Nasty sports jeans and a crystal chandelier-like headpiece from Dior Haute Couture by John Galliano.
But just as illuminating as the glittering headwear is the accompanying interview, in which she discusses how sheltered she was growing up in the famous Jackson clan.
She tells a story about hitting a Malibu grocery store a few years ago with Missy Elliott. "I'm seeing this square thing [at the checkout], and I'm like, 'What's this, you guys?' " Jackson says. "And Missy just looked at me. And they said, 'That's so you can use your credit card .' And I said, 'You can use your credit card in grocery stores now?' Missy cracked up laughing...I didn't know."
You can find the issue on news racks, er, newsstands now.
