'Idol' and Former Contestant Sued
An ex-employee of 'American Idol' is suing the show and one of the former 'Idol' wannabe's, Mario Vasquez, over claims of sexual harassment. Magdaleno Olmos, the complainant, is a former assistant production accountant for the company behind 'Idol', and has made some staggering allegations against Vasquez, who is gay. Olmos is alleging wrongful termination and violation of the state's Fair Employment and Housing Act. He is asking for unspecified compensatory and punitive damages.
