Tara Reid Finally Gets Acting Gig
From The Hollywood Reporter
Tara Reid is attached to star in and executive produce the indie romantic comedy "Honestly."
Vinnie Jones ("X-Men: The Last Stand") and former NFL running back Eddie George ("Into the Sun") also are attached to co-star in the film.
Penned by Tom Vaughan ("Unstoppable"), the film centers on Monica Hennessey, a hard-boiled private eye who works as a temptress to test the fidelity of philandering husbands. Then she meets her ultimate job challenge: Instead of entrapping her latest prey, she falls for a man who couldn't possibly be as nice as he seems.
Reid's brother Tommy, who directed the actress in the upcoming bowling comedy "7-10 Split," is set to helm.
The film is scheduled to start shooting in the summer in Los Angeles.
Tara Reid's production company, Hi Happy Films, is producing alongside Tommy Reid and Aimee Flaherty. The film is being financed through private equity.
Tara Reid, who starred in "American Pie," "American Pie 2" and "Van Wilder," is repped by Nine Yards Entertainment.
Jones is handled by Paradigm and Nine Yards Entertainment. George is repped by Paradigm. Tommy Reid is repped by attorney Todd Rubenstein.
